Optical encoder discs on glass are the oldest non-contact positioning device with the highest precision and highest resolution operated efficiently at high speeds. They are used, for example, in the construction of metering incremental and absolute sensors, including nonionic reading.

We produce rotors, stators and linear rulers as per customer requirements.

Relative discs

Base material: float glass, borosilicate glass

Diameters: up to 150 mm
Resolution: up to 6000 lines a revolution

Absolute discs

Base material: float glass, borosilicate glass
Layer material: chromium
Thickness: 1 to 3 mm
Diameters: up to 150 mm
Resolution: according to customer's requirement

Linear rulers

Base material: float glass, borosilicate glass
Layer material: chromium
Thickness:1 to 5 mm
